HAZARAT ALI (RA)'s BEST IMMUNE BOOSTING FORMULA

 Ali Ibne Talib (RA) was a cousin and son-in-law of Islamic Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the 4th Caliph of Islamic Khilafat-e-Rashida. He was blessed with countless virtues. Here is mention of only one virtue; knowledge and wisdom of physical as well as spiritual world. The Holy Prophet PBUH said: "I am the CITY of knowledge and Ali is its GATE….". People used to visit him and asked questions. One day a person came to him and asked: What is immunity? He replied: "Allah has bestowed a force in the body of person that counter the invading diseases; this force of body is called immunity.
He further questioned: How to increase this immunity? He replied:
1) By Food
2) By Peace of mind and body and soul
3) By positive and optimistic thinking
He continued explaining: Eat garlic, ginger, turmeric and green leafy vegetables. Take full sleep and keep your thinking positive and optimistic. It will boost your immunity to a level, that Allah, with His Blessedness(Fazal) and Benevolence(Karam), will enhance your immunity to a level that disease will never overcome your body to make you sick.

What today science says about his immune boosting formula:
I: FOOD
It includes garlic, ginger, turmeric and green leafy vegetable. What scientists and nutritionals say about these foods:
GARLIC is called Lahsin in Urdu and Allium Sativum in science. It has been in use of Egyptian, Greek, Chinese, Roman, Indian civilization as food as well as herbal medicine.
 Hippocrates (Father of Medicine) Greek physician 500 BC, prescribed garlic for variety of diseases. Pliny, Roman physician, made a comprehensive list of garlic uses. Avicenna recommended garlic for treatment of with variety of ailment. He said: It is a medicine against infection diseases. Garlic was effectively used as anti-septic to prevent gangrene during the World War 1 and World War 2.
 Ingredient of garlic includes Vitamin C and B and eight minerals including zinc.
Garlic and Immunity:
 Garlic increase white blood cell count and thus increase body's fighting force to combat onslaught of germs. Garlic contain Allin (sulfur containing compound) that boost the disease fighting response of white blood cells when they encounter virus.
Research
   In one of study, 146 healthy persons where divided into two groups. One group was given garlic for three months. Other group was given placebo (Medicine which has no physiological effect but only psychological effect).
 Later on, the garlic group had 63% lower risk of getting flue and their cold duration was 70% shorter.
 Above discussion and research clearly shows that garlic has immune boosting property.
GINGER
 It is called Adrak in Urdu and Zingibar officiate. Garlic has been used since ancient times as food and herbal medicine, to treat variety of ailment due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effect, ginger may boost immune health. Ginger is thought to kill virus.
 Ingredient of ginger vitamin B, C, E and 8 minerals including zinc. Plus, enzymes like zingerone, shogaols, ginerol.
RESEARCH
     A research was conducted by Agricultural University of Hebei. In study, 600 hens were divided in two groups. One group was given 0.1% ginger extract in diet. Other group was provided basal diet.
 Result showed that ginger group had increased egg weight, egg laying rate. Study also showed ginger increased enzyme lysosomes; reflecting cellular immunity and anti-infection ability of body.
 Conclusion: Ginger extract no only improved the bird’s anti-oxidant capacity, enhance immune system and is anti-inflammatory.
TURMERIC
 It is called haldi in Urdu and curcuma longa in science. It has been in used for a thousand year in different part of the world.
 Ingredients include vitamins, minerals, 34 essential oils and curcuma and turmeric.
 Turmeric is a natural way to help augment the immune system by increasing immune modulating capacity of the body. Turmeric also reduced depression.
As depression decrease immunity so it is helpful in this regard as well.
 It's "Golden paste" is used all over the world for its magical anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial property.
RESEARCH:
 Some research shows that both the active ingredient of turmeric (curcumin and turmeric) have anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-parasite activity.
 Prof Manor Garg (University of Newcastle) said: Curcumin is powerful anti-inflammatory agent. 
GREEN VEGETABLE:
   Vegetable contains wide variety of vitamins, mineral. It is source of chemical involved in signaling that is essential for fully functioning of immune system. They do this by lymphocytes (IELS) function properly.
RESEARCH:
 Studies have shown vegetable provide beta-carotene, vitamin C, Vitamin E, mineral Zinc, Selenium- all considered immune system booster.
            Beta-carotene is a powerful anti-oxidant that reduce inflammation and lift immunity by increasing disease fighting cells in the body.
Vitamin C: (Ascorbic acid) is anti-viral agent, it increases white blood cell. In Wuhan, Chinese gave mega doses of vitamin C to corona virus patients. Vitamin C is necessary to make interferon which stop virus by killing infected cells.
VITAMIN E
 It scavenges free radical responsible for oxidative damage of cells. It is anti-oxidant.
Vitamin D reduce the risk of viral infection including respiratory tract infection. It is immune margilator (controlling factor), there are vitamin D receptors in all of your white blood cells and DNA. It supports T cell (made by thymus gland) which protect us from pathogens.
 Zinc is a crucial component of 200 enzymes, vital for our immune system. Zn++ ion (ZN +2) is activator of many enzymes like phosphatase, carbonic acid anhydrase. Zinc activate T cell, that attack cancerous cells and regulate immune response. Zinc cut down common cold by 40%.
Selenium is a co-enzyme in 25 different enzymes. It is anti-oxidant.
PEACE
     Peace mean calm, cool and quiet mind. This solace of mind can be obtained by two-way: Proper sleep and worried less mind during awake.
Proper sleep:
 Research from Germany have found sleep improve immune T-cell that are type of immune cells that fight against extracellular pathogens e.g. Flu virus.
 Research: Dr. Stoyan Dimitrov (University of Tubingen) says: "Stress hormones adrenaline and nor-adrenaline and pro inflammatory molecule prostaglandins inhibit the stickiness of adhesion molecule integrin (Protein).
             Dr. Dimitrov further said: "Because the level of adrenaline, nor-adrenaline and prostaglandins are low during sleep time, the stickiness is important because in order for T-cell to kill virus, infected cells or cancer cells"
    Here I want to mention that when animals get sick, they isolate themselves to a corner and then rest or sleep. Perhaps nature has bestowed a sleep, a healing power.
 Back to topic, T-cell play important role in the body immune system. When cells in the body recognize a virally infected cell, they activate integrin, then allow them to attack to and kill infected cells.
     Researchers studied two groups; one group took proper sleep and the other stayed awake all night. Those who slept well; their T-cells showed higher level of integrin activation than the T-cell of those who were awake. Result showed that sleep has the potential to improve T-cell functioning.
     Furthermore, stress hormones dip while the body is asleep. High level of stress hormones might decrease the T-cell immune response to kill pathogen; Dimitrov added.
3 THINKING:
 Good thinking includes positive and optimistic thinking.
Positive Thinking:
 Our forefathers had been advising us to keep positive thinking. If one sees glass half-filled is positive; the other who see it half-empty is negative.
RESEARCH
 Ben Shaanan had 50 years’ clinical experience, he found that positive thinking can cause physiologic effect.
 An experiment was conducted on mice. Researchers stimulated dopaminergic neuron in ventral tegmental area (VTA); it is a region of brain involved in reward-related stimuli. When VTA is stimulated; it endorses that work done is right and thus person keep on doing that work again and again.
Researchers found that "positive thinking" mice had improved immunity compared to "non-positive control". When reward neurons were stimulated by drug CNO, their immune system improved against bacteria.
            To exclude confounding factors, the experiment is repeated with mice having sympathetic nerve damage by 6-OHDA (it is ox dopamine and is a neurotoxic to destroy dopaminergic and noradrenergic neuron in brain.
 Researchers had idea that mice are unable to signal "happiness", even though their "reward" neuron are triggered, thus their immune system should not improve.
 Sum and substance of experiment is that researchers found that "positive thinking" mice had an improved immune response compared to non-positive control mice.
Optimistic thinking
 What a man thinks, that becomes reality. My father Nazar Hussain (Poet of English) used to say a list of sentences in one blow:
Think you are strong; strong you become
Think you are healthy; healthy you become
Think you are wise; wise you become
And so on………
I used to listen the sentences but couldn't understand. Recently I came to know the science of this thinking pattern.
 What one thinks, one speaks; acts accordingly and that become reality. For example, a clerk Aslam comes late in office. His colleagues, boss inquiries, he speaks a lie that his motorcycle got punctured. Everybody speak in office; Aslam's motorcycle got punctured. Later on, Aslam's motorcycle actually gets punctured. Such incident frequently happens in our lives.
    Another example, phone bell rings; you think that May be Sajad is calling from UK. You tell others that you thought, it was a Sajad’s call. After a while, bell rings again and there is Sajad on the other side of the phone. Such incidences endorse the chain; think, speak, act and get result.
    Joseph Murphy wrote best-seller book "The power of your subconscious mind", Napoleon Hill wrote best of the best book "Think and grow rich"; and Ronda Byrne wrote the secret; The Hero; The power; the Magic- all above book have explored the 'secret' that don't think about what is happening; rather think what you wish to be and that wishful thinking will become reality. For example, if someone is ill; he shouldn't think about his illness rather must think that he is recovering and is almost recovered. It means think about the reality which you want. That thinking will bring fruit. It is an optimistic way of thinking. And such wishful thinking and imagination is called law of attraction, that is popular in many countries and score of people practice it.
     

            In recent corona virus calamity, a 103-year old got infected. The doctor said: “Nothing can be done as she is too old and fatality rate is too high for this age".  On hearing this, she decided, she will not die of corona fever, and… she recovered. When media interviewed her, she said: “On every breath; she used to say: Whether Allah is Powerful or corona virus? Then she used to say: No doubt! Allah is the Most Powerful, so she will recover; she will recover; she will recover.”          
-----and she recovered. The old lady was not thinking and talking about the prevailing reality; disease, death but she was thinking and speaking about the reality, she wanted. And in the course of time, what she was thinking and talking became the reality. And she recovered and doctor were astonished and startled. This patterns of thinking, and “appealing” and faith is what called in religion "prayer".
           So, positive and optimistic thinking improve the immune system involving-all physical, mental and spiritual activation.
             There are 600 thousand animal species on earth. If any animal gets sick, doesn't visit physician but take rest, sleep and utilize his natural immune system for curing. In the absence of drug/ vaccine against corona, human is left with one choice to fight it with their natural immune system. Hazarat Ali (RA) has put forward a three step formula, 1400 year ago, to boost immune system, thus by utilizing this formula, mankind can fight successfully the coronavirus assault and by passing through "The Gate" of knowledge and wisdom, we can enter "The City" of health, happiness and blessings of all kind.

HAZARAT ALI RA KA QAWAT E MADAFIAT BARHANAY KA FORMULA

          حضرت علی رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کا قوت  مدافعت بڑھانے کا فارمولا 
(سائنس کے آئینہ میں )

حضرت علی ر ضی اللہ عنہ کی خدمت میں ایک شخص آیا اور پوچھنے لگا: قوت مدافعت کیا ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا: اللہ نے انسان کے جسم میں ایک قوت کو وجود بخشا ہے۔ جو آنے والی بیماریوں کو انسان کے جسم پر حاوی نہیں ہونے دیتی، اس طاقت کو مدافعت کہتے ہیں۔ وہ آگے پوچھنے لگا : اس قوت مدافعت کو کیسے بڑھائیں ؟ آپ نے فرمایا 
                                                              اول: غذا سے 
                                                        دوئم : سکون سے
                                                         سوئم : سوچ سے 
پھر بات کو آ گے بڑھاتے فرمایا کہ غذا میں لہسن ، ادرک ، ہلدی اور سبز سبزیاں کھاؤ۔ جو کوئ یہ غذا روازانہ کھاۓ، نید کو پورا رکھے اور سوچ کو اچھا رکھے ، تو اللہ کے فضل اور کرم سے اس کی قوت مدافعت اتنی بڑھ جاۓ گی کہ بیماریاں   اس کے جسم میں کبھی اختیار نہیں رکھیں گی۔

                                                                                   اول:  غذا
غذا میں لہسن، ادرک ، ہلدی اور سبزیاں کھانے کے بارے سائنس کیا کہتی ہے ؟ 
لہسن: جس کو انگلش میں " گارلک" اور سائنس میں "ایلیم سیٹیوم" کہتے ہیں ، ہزاروں سال سے یونانی، مصری، چینی ، رومن ، ہندوستانی تہذیبوں میں خوراک اور دوای کے طور پر استعمال کیا جاتا رہا ہے۔ طب کا بانی ہیپو کریٹس؛ لہسن سے بہت سی بیماریوں کا علاج کرتا رہا ہے۔ رومن دور کے پلینی  نے لہسن کے فوائد کی لسٹ تیار کی  ۔ بو علی سینا  نے لہسن سے بہت سی بیماریوں کا علاج کیا اور کہا کہ یہ متعدی امراض کا علاج ہے۔ پہلی اور دوسری جنگ عظیم میں لہسن کو  گیینگرین کے علاج کے طور پر کامیابی سے استعمال کیا گیا۔
 لہسن میں وٹامن بی، وٹامن سی کے ساتھ اٹھ نمکیات  ہیں ، جن میں زنک  بھی شامل ہے۔ وٹامن سی اور زنک مدافعتی نظام کو تقویت بخشتے ہیں ۔ لہسن سفید خلییات کی تعداد بڑھاتا ہے جو جراثیم کو مارتے ہیں ۔ اس  میں ایک امینو ایسڈ , ایلن ہوتا ہے جو سفید خلیوں کی جراثیم کے خلاف جنگ لڑنے کی صلاحیت کو بڑھاتا ہے اور سوزش کو کم کرتا ہے اور اینٹی اکسیڈینٹ بھی ہے۔ 
ایک ریسرچ میں ایک سو چونسٹھ  لوگوں کو دو گروپ میں تقسیم کیا گیا۔ ایک گروپ کے افراد کو تین ماہ لہسن دیا گیا اور دوسرے گروپ کے لوگوں کو پلیسبو ( بظاہر دیکھنے میں  دوای اور حقیقت میں کچھ اور چیز۔ یعنی نفسیاتی دوائ) دیا گیا۔بعد میں جن لوگوں کو حقیقت میں لہسن دیا گیا تھا ، انکو تریسٹھ فیصد کم نزلہ ہوا اور جن کو ہوا ،انکا نزلہ  ستر فیصد جلدی ٹھیک ہو گیا،  نسبتاً دوسرے گروپ کے لوگوں کے۔
 ادرک : جسکو انگلش میں " جنجر" اور سائنس میں "زنجیبار افیسینیٹ "کہا جاتا ہے، ہزاروں سالوں سے انسانوں کے زیر استعمال ہے۔ ادرک سوزش کو ختم کرتا ہے ، اینٹی اکسیڈینٹ ہے اور واہرس کو مارتا ہے۔ اس میں وٹامن بی، سی اور ڈی کے ساتھ ساتھ ،  اٹھ نمکیات ہیں جن میں زنک بھی شامل ہے۔ اس میں اینزاہم ؛ زنجیروں ،  شاو گاؤ ل، جینیرول بھی موجود ہیں۔
ذرعی یونیورسٹی ہوبے  میں چھ سو مرغیوں پر ریسرچ کی گئ۔ مرغیوں کو دو گروپ میں تقسیم کر کے ایک گروپ کو خوراک میں ادرک ڈال کر دیا گیا اور دوسرے گروپ کو بغیر ادرک کے خوراک دی گئ۔ ریسرچ کے نتائج میں ادرک کھانے والی مرغیوں نے زیادہ اور بڑے سائز کے انڈے دیے۔ دوسرا ادرک کی وجہ سے" لائسو زائم" اینزائم کی مقدار بڑھ گئ، یہ اینزائم جراثیم مارتا ہے۔ یہ لعاب دہن ، گلے، منہ، سانس کی نالی اور پھیپھڑوں وغیرہ  کی جھلی "میوکس" میں ہوتا ہے اور جراثیم کو مار کر جسم کو محفوظ رکھتا ہے۔ اس طرع مدافعتی نظام کا معاون ہے۔
 ہلدی: جس کو انگلش میں  " ٹر میرک" اور سائنس میں " کر کوما لونگا" کہتے ہیں ، صدیوں سے بنی نوح انسان میں غذا اور دوائ کے طور پر زیر استعمال ہے۔ اس میں وٹامن اور نمکیات کے ساتھ چھتیس ایشینشل تیل اور     "ٹر میرک"  اور " کرکو مین "موجود ہیں۔ ہلدی امونو مودولیٹنگ  صلاحیت کو بڑھا کر مدافعتی نظام کو مظبوط کرتی ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ سوزش کو ختم کرتی ہے اور ڈپریشن کو کم کرتی ہے۔ اسکا “ گولڈن پیسٹ” دنیا بھر میں مشہور ہے۔ ریسرچ سے پتہ چلا ہے کہ ہلدی کے اجزاء ؛ ٹر میرک اور کرکومین دونوں سوزش کو ختم کرتے ہیں، اینٹی اکسیڈینٹ ہیں اور بیکٹیریا اور واہرس کو مارتے ہیں۔
یونیورسٹی آف نیو کیسل کے پروفیسر منوہر گا رگ کہتے ہیں کہ کرکومین ایک بہت طاقتور سوزش ختم کرنے والا ایجنٹ ہے۔ مختصراً ہلدی مدافعتی نظام کو مظبوط بنانے میں کار آمد ہے۔
 سبزیاں: جنہیں ویجیٹیبل کہتے ہیں وٹامن، نمکیات کے علاوہ کئ کیمیکل رکھتی ہیں جو دفاعی نظام کو مظبوط بناتے ہیں۔ یہ سفید خلیات کے کام کرنے کی صلاحیت بڑھا کر جراثیم کا کو مارنے میں مدد دیتی ہیں۔

سبزیوں میں موجود زنک ،  دو سو اینزائم کا اہم جز ہے اور کئ اینزائم  اور ٹی سیل کا محرک ہے۔  ریسرچ کے مطابق زنک نزلہ کو چالیس فیصد کم کرتا ہے۔  اسی طرع سیلینیم دس اینزائم کا معاون ہے۔ یہ دونوں دفاعی نظام کو مظبوط بناتے ہیں۔شاید یہی وجہ ہے سبزیاں کھانے والے لمبی عمر پاتے ہیں اور صحت مند رہتے ہیں ۔

سکون میں نیند کو پورا کرنا  اور جاگتے وقت دماغ میں پریشانی کا نہ ہونا شامل ہیں۔ پوری نیند کرنے سے مدافعتی نظام بہت بہتر ہو جاتا ہے۔ جرمنی میں کی گئی ایک ریسرچ سے پتہ چلا ہے کہ پوری نیند لینے سے "ٹی سیل" بہتر کام کرتے ہیں۔ ٹی سیل دفاعی خلیے ہیں جو وائرس کے خلاف لڑتے ہیں۔ ڈاکٹر ڈیمی ٹراف کے مطابق اسٹریس ہارمون  ایڈرینالین،  نارایڈرینالین اور  پروسٹا گلینڈین ؛  ایک چپچپی پروٹین" آنٹی گرین "کے چپکنے کی صلاحیت کو کم کرتے ہیں ۔ ڈاکٹر ڈیمی ٹراف  کے مطابق  ایڈرینالین، نار ایڈرینا لین اور  پروسٹا گلینڈین سوتے وقت جسم میں کم ہوجاتے  ہیں اور اینٹی گرین پروٹین  کے چپکنے کی صلاحیت زیادہ ہوتی ہے ۔ اس چپچپاہٹ کی بدولت  ٹی سیل باآسانی وائرس اور بیمار خلیوں کو مار سکتے ہیں ۔ ریسرچ کے مطابق ٹی سیل جسم کے مدافعتی نظام میں  اہم کردار ادا کرتے ہیں ۔  جب جسم کو پتہ چلتا ہے کہ کسی خلیہ میں  وائرس     دا خل ہو گیا ہے تو ٹی سیل انٹیگرین پروٹین کو  شہ دیتے ہیں کہ بیمار خلیوں پر حملہ کرے اور ان کو مار دے ۔
 ایک اور ریسرچ کی گئی ، جس میں لوگوں کو دو گروپ میں تقسیم کیا گیا ۔ایک گروپ نے  بھرپور نیند لی  جبکہ دوسرا گروپ رات بھر جاگتا رہا ۔ جن لوگوں نے پوری نیند کی ان کے جسم  میں ٹی سیل  نے انٹیگرین پروٹین کو  بہت زیادہ ایکٹیویٹ کیا اور جاگنے والوں میں بہت کم ۔ اس سے ثابت ہوا کہ پوری نیند کرنے سے ٹی سیل کے کام کرنے کی صلاحیت بڑھ جاتی ہے ۔ نیند کا دوسرا فائدہ  ہے کہ جب انسان سوتا ہے تو اس کے  سٹریس کرنے والے ہارمون کم ہوجاتے ہیں ۔ان ہارمون کی زیادتی ٹی سیل کے کام کرنے کی صلاحیت کو متاثر کرتی ہے ۔
                                                                             سوئم : اچھی سوچ
اچھی سوچ ; مثبت  اور پر امید " اپٹیمسٹک"  سوچ تصور کی جاتی ہے۔ 
                                                                              مثبت سوچ 
بڑے بزرگ ہمیشہ سے سمجھاتے آئے ہیں کہ سوچ کو مثبت رکھو ، گلاس  کو دیکھ کر کہنا: آدھا بھرا ہوا ہے؛ مثبت سوچ ہے اور یہ کہنا کہ آدھا خالی ہے,  منفی سوچ ہے۔ بیمار شخص صرف اپنی بیماری کو دیکھے تو  آدھے خالی گلاس کو دیکھ رہا ہے جبکہ صحت مند حصوں کو دیکھے اور صحت یابی کا تصور کرے تو آدھے بھرے ہوئے گلاس کو دیکھ رہا ہے ۔
ایک ریسرچ میں بن شانان جسکا  پچاس سالہ  کلینک کا تجربہ  ہے ،کہتا ہے کہ مثبت سوچ کے جسم پر مثبت اثرات ہوتے ہیں ۔  دماغ کا ایک حصہ وی ٹی اے  "وینٹرل ٹیگمینٹل ایریا " ہے جو " پیغام کا انعام" یعنی "ریوارڈ "دیتا ہے ۔ انہوں نے چوہوں پر تجربہ کیا جن چوہوں کی سوچ مثبت تھی، ان کا مدافعتی نظام منفی سوچ والے چوہوں کی نسبت بہت زیادہ تھا ۔  جب دماغ کے وی ٹی اے حصہ کو ایک دوائی" سی این او "سے ایکٹیویٹ کیا گیا تو دفاعی نظام بہتر ہوگیا۔  جب دوائی "اکسی ڈوپامین " کو چوہوں کو دیا گیا کہ وہ خوشی کی مثبت سوچ کا سگنل نہ بیجھ  سکیں تو ان کا مدافعتی نظام ماند پڑ گیا۔  مختصرا ان تجربات کا نچوڑ ہے  کہ ریسرچرز  نے معلوم کیا کہ مثبت سوچ رکھنے والے چوہوں میں دفاعی نظام  مضبوط تھا۔

انسان جو سوچتا ہے وہی ہوتا ہے ! جو سوچتا ہے کہ وہ صحت مند ہے تو وہ صحت مند ہو جاتا ہے ۔ انسان جو سوچتا ہے،  وہی بولتا ہے، اسی کے مطابق عمل کرتا ہے  ، اسی طرح کا نتیجہ نکلتا ہے اور وہی سوچ ریئلٹی بن جاتی ہے ۔  مثلا  ایک کلرک اسلم دفتر لیٹ پہنچتا ہے ۔  لوگوں کے پوچھنے پر جھوٹ بولتا ہے کہ موٹر سائیکل پنکچر ہو گی۔ دفتر کے لوگ سوچتے ہیں کہ اسلم کی موٹر سائیکل پنکچر ہوگی ۔ وہ ایک دوسرے کو بتاتے ہیں کہ  اسلم کی موٹر سائیکل پنکچر ہوگئی۔ ہوتا کیا ہے کہ کچھ ہی عرصے میں  اسلم کی موٹرسائیکل واقعی پنکچر ہو جاتی ہے۔ اس طرح کے واقعات ہماری زندگیوں میں عام آتے رہتے ہیں اور اسی لے ہمارے بزرگ ہمیں کہتے ہیں کہ اچھا سوچو اور اچھا بولو اور بری بات منہ سے نہ نکالو ۔  ایک اور مثال؛  فون کی گھنٹی بجتی ہے۔ آپ کو خیال آتا ہے  کہ انگلینڈ سے سجاد کا فون ہے ۔ آپ ساتھ والوں کو کہتے  ہیں کہ مجھے لگا کہ سجاد کا فون ہے اور تھوڑی دیر کے بعد سجاد کا فون آ جاتا ہے۔ اس طرح کے واقعات ہماری زندگی میں میں اکثر رونما ہوتے ہیں ۔  جو سوچنے ، بولنے، کرنے  اور نتیجہ کی اس لڑی( چیین)   کی تصدیق کرتے ہیں۔
 جوزف مرفی  نے اک کتاب لکھی " لا شعوری  ذہن کی طاقت"  اور نپولین ہل  نے  کتاب لکھی "سوچو اور امیر بنو"  اور روندا بایرن  کی چار کتابیں ;  " راز",
" میجک" ، " ہیرو" اور  "پاور"--- ان سب کتابوں کی بنیاد  ایک" راز " پر  ہے کہ وہ نہ سوچو جو ہو رہا ہے۔ (جو اکثر لوگ کرتے ہیں) بلکہ وہ سوچو جو تم چاہتے  ہو ، یعنی اگر کوئی بیمار  ہے تو یہ نہ سوچے کہ وہ بیمار ہے  بلکہ سوچے کہ وہ ٹھیک ہے، وہ صحت  مند ہے  یعنی جو ریالٹی  چاہتے ہو اس کا سوچو ، اسی پر بولو کیونکہ "کوئ"  سن رہا ہوتا ہے۔  تو وہ حقیقت بن جاتی ہے۔اس موضوع  پر کئی سو کتابیں لکھی جا چکی ہیں  اور اس نظریہ کو کشش کا قانون بھی کہتے ہیں  اور بہت سارے ممالک میں یہ قانون بہت مشہور ہے  اور لوگ اس کو پریکٹس کرتے ہیں۔


ایک سو تین سالہ کرونا کی مریض  کو ڈاکٹروں نے جواب دے دیا ۔ اس نے فیصلہ کیا کہ اس نے کرونا  سے نہیں مرنا اور وہ  نہیں مری !  بلکہ صحتیاب ہوکر  سب کو ورطہ حیرت میں ڈال دیا ۔ اس کے انٹرویو لئے گئے  تو اس نے بتایا  کہ وہ ہر سانس پر کہتی تھی کہ اللہ بڑا ہے یا کرونا ؟ پھر وہ کہتی:  یقینا اللہ بڑا ہے۔ تو پھر میں ٹھیک ہو جاؤں گی؛ میں ٹھیک ہو جاؤں گی؛ میں ٹھیک ہو جاؤں گی ۔ وہ بیمار تھی اور آپنی موجودہ حالت بیماری اور متوقہ موت کا نہیں سوچ رہی تھی  اور نہ ہی اس کے متعلق بول رہی تھی بلکہ  بڑھیا ، وہ سوچ رہی تھی جو وہ چاہتی تھی ،اور وہ بول رہی تھی جو وہ چاہتی تھی اور جو وہ سوچ رہی تھی اور بول رہی تھی ؛  وہی ریئلٹی بن گئی اور وہ ٹھیک ہوگی۔ اس سوچ، " پکار" اور یقین کامل کو  مذہبی اصطلاح میں  "دعا "کہتے ہیں ۔ جس سے کسی کو انکار نہیں ۔ اچھی سوچ واقعی مدافعتی نظام کو مضبوط کرتی ہے  اور  یہ مزکورہ تین درجاتی "فارمولا"  انسان کے جسمانی،دماغی اور روحانی نظام کے لے ٹانک ہے اور وہ کسی بھی بیماری سے لڑ سکتا ہے ۔
        دنیا میں جانوروں کی سولہ لاکھ اقسام " سپیشیز" ہیں۔ اگر وہ بیمار ہوں  تو  کسی ڈاکٹر کے پاس نہیں جاتے بلکہ اللہ کے دیئے گئے دفاعی نظام سے خود علاج کرتے ہیں ۔ آج کرونا کی دوائی نہ ہونے پر  انسان کو اپنا علاج بھی قدرتی دفاعی نظام سے کرنا پڑ رہا ہے  اور حضرت علی رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کے دفاعی نظام کو  مضبوط کرنے کے فارمولے کو  اپنا کر ، ہم اس بیماری سے کامیابی سے نبرد آزما ہو سکتے ہیں اور علم اور دانش کے دروازے سے گزر کر صحت، خوشی اور رحمت  کے شہر میں بسیرا کر سکتے ہیں

GOOD NEWS: COMING SUMMER WILL CONTROL CORONAVIRUS; SCIENTISTS REPORTS

Covid-19 has tightened its tentacles around 7 billion heads; number of new cases increasing, death toll is up; all economic and social lives are standstill, patients are suffering, their loved ones worried and healthy ones are frightened, not to catch covid. In this catastrophic scenario, there is good news that coming summer will put shackle around this dreadful dragon.


    FIRST REPORT
          Chinese scientists, Jingyuan Wang, Ke Tang, Kai Feng and Weifeng Lv, published paper on March 19, predicting Covid-19’s transmission ability will reduce a lot by the end of March in some countries. The research was conducted in 100 Chinese cities having 40 plus cases. The data collected showed that high temperature and high relative humidity significantly lessen the transmission of COVID-19.

         Chinese researcher also inspected data of other countries. They said: “In the early dates of the outbreak, countries with relatively lower air temperature and lower humidity (e.g. Korea, Japan and Iran) saw severe outbreaks than the warmer and more humid countries (e.g. Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand) do.”


      Chinese researchers also analyzed the phenomenon of spread of other viral diseases. For example, influenza virus, which is also a coronavirus, is more stable in cold temperature, and respiratory droplets (containers of viruses) remain in air for longer time in dry air. Further, cold and dry weather can also weaken the hosts’ immunity and make them more susceptible to the virus. These mechanisms are also likely to apply to the COVID-19 transmission. Our result is also consistent with the evidence that high temperature and high relative humidity reduce the viability of SARS coronavirus.”

     
The paper stated: “In July, the arrival of summer and rainy season in the northern hemisphere can effectively reduce the transmission of the COVID-19; however, risks remain in some countries in the southern hemisphere (e.g. Australia and South Africa.


SECOND REPORT
         A study conducted 10 years ago by Kate Templeton, the University of Edinburgh UK, found that three coronaviruses – all obtained from patients, showed “marked winter seasonality”. These viruses seemed to cause infections mainly between December and April – a similar pattern was observed in influenza virus.
          There are some early hints that Covid-19 may also vary with the seasons. The recent spread of COVID-19 outbreaks around the world seems to suggest, it has a preference for cool and dry conditions

THIRD REPORT
           An unpublished analysis comparing the weather in 500 localities with Covid-19 cases, in different parts of world; suggest a link between the spread of the virus and temperature, wind speed and relative humidity. Another unpublished study has also revealed that higher temperatures are linked to lower incidence of Covid-19.
           Yet, another unpublished research predicts that temperate warm and cold climates areas are the most vulnerable to the current Covid-19 outburst, followed by arid regions. Tropical areas of the world are less likely to be affected.
          A study of the University of Maryland says that the virus has spread most in regions of the world where average temperatures was around 5-11C  and relative humidity was low.

FOURTH REPORT
           Qasim Bukhari and Yusuf Jameel, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, analyzed global cases of COVID-19 and found that 90% of the infections occurred in areas that are between 3 to 17 C and with an absolute humidity of 4 to 9 (g/m3). (Absolute humidity is defined by how much moisture is in the air, regardless of temperature.)
           In countries with an average temperature greater than 18 C and an absolute humidity greater than 9 g/m3, the number of COVID-19 cases is less than 6% of the global cases. (Lahore has temperature of 21C and humidity 68% today) It clearly suggests "that the transmission of 2019-nCoV virus might have been less efficient in warmer humid climate so far," the authors wrote. Humidity especially might play a role, given that most of the transmission of COVID-19 has happened in relatively less humid areas.

FIFTH REPORT
        Dr Eic Berg disclosed in his video lecture that for every 1-degree rise of temperature and 1% relative humidity, there is decrease in Ro value (Effective Reproduction which show how fast virus from patient is reproducing and spreading to healthy person) by 0.0383 and 0.0224 respectively. And to stop the epidemic, Ro Value is needed to be less than 1. So, the summer and rainy season can effectively decrease the spread of COVID-19.
        In the beginning of this outbreak in January-February, in warmer and humid countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand had much smaller outbreaks than the colder and lesser humid countries like China, Iran, Italy, South Korea and japan.
           Chines reports further says: “If we plug the normal summer temperature and relative humidity of Tokyo (28C and 85%, respectively) in Equation (1), the transmission of the COVID-19 in Tokyo will be seriously reduced between March and the Olympics….” The estimated R Value will decrease from 1.914 to 0.92(a 46% drop). So there is great likelihood that pandemic will slide downward. In Pakistan, summer temperature touch 40-45 C and even 50 C, so the Covid outbreak will be dramatically low. At present, we should observe strict social distancing to put breaks on the corona onslaught.

SIXTH REPORT OF COMPUTER
        One intriguing study by scientists in China suggests there is some sort of relationship between Covid-19 and the weather conditions. They looked at nearly 2,300 deaths in Wuhan and compared them to the humidity, temperature and pollution levels on the day they occurred. Although it has yet to be published in an academic journal, their research suggests mortality rates were lower on days when the humidity levels and temperatures were higher. Their analysis also suggests that on days where the maximum and minimum temperature ranges were greater, there were higher levels of mortality. But this work is largely also based on computer modelling, so the exact nature of this relationship, and whether it will be seen in other parts of the world, is still to be explored.

SEVENTH REPORT
         The weather can also mess with our own immune systems to make us more vulnerable to infections, too. Evidence suggest that vitamin D levels in our bodies can have an effect on how vulnerable we are against infectious diseases. In the winter, our bodies make less vitamin D from sunlight exposure, mainly because we spend more time indoors and also wrap ourselves in clothing, thus blocking UV to make vitamin D from ergo sterol present in our skin. But some studies have found this theory is unlikely to account for seasonal variation seen in diseases like flu.
       Whether cold weather weakens our immune systems? Some studies advocate it does, but others find the cold can actually boost the number of cells that defend our bodies from infection.
       There is stronger evidence that humidity can have a greater impact on our vulnerability to infection. When the air is dry, it is thought to reduce the amount of mucous coating of our lungs and airways. This sticky secretion(mucous) forms a natural defense barrier against infections and when it is lesser, one is more vulnerable to virus.
       In sum, at high temperature, virus bilayer fat coating will become soft, fragile and easy to be disrupted. In low temperature, fat coating hardens into a rubber-like state and thus protect the virus for longer when it is outside the body.

      The rate of evaporation increases in summer, water film around virus will evaporate and virus may go to ground instead of flying and infecting.

Ro in northern hemisphere is 2.5 and southern has 1.2; it also hints the effect of temperature.

       The wind speed may also be useful as it will increase rate of evaporation and can also diffuse virus to a level making it is less harmful.

Temperature and humidity in Pakistan will increase day by day. At present (today 25/03/2020) the temperature of Lahore is 21C; humidity 68% and wind speed is 8 km/hour. In coming days, temperature will rise gradually. The past average temperature of Lahore in March is 27 C; April 34 C; May 39 C; June 40 C. So if the above reports are true, that apparently look like, we are going to have a sharp steep slope in cases in coming days.
The temperature profile of countries with sever outbreak is Wuhan 7 C; Rome 7 C; Qom 11C; Mashhad 12 C; New York 6 C; Washington 8C, etc( All has temperature less than 10 C or around 10 C). It is reported, that coronavirus  servive at 27 C or so. So, in summer, situation will be much better.

Second, wind will turn to storm in April to further ease out the issue, we are facing now. And then in raining season humidity will increase to further lessen the crisis. In nutshell, all the three weather factors, pointed by reporter, are tilting in our fovour. IT IS A BIG HAPPY NEWS!

     In the meanwhile, social isolation policy is required to be observed strictly with regular hand-washing. Our society is divided on covid response; upper class and upper middle class, who has access to social media, are getting panic while lower middle class and lower class is chilling and even mocking people adopting preventive measures. There is no need to get panicky and also there is no room to be careless. Both attitude will drag to unnecessary ugly situation, sanity should prevail. Halcyon days are ahead!

BEST WAY TO KILL CORONAVIRUS

        Coronavirus is playing havoc with the human lives; health, economy, relations …, etc. in fact, now it is a war between the super species (Homo-sapiens) and the inferior one(viriae).  We, have not yet made vaccine, it is months away, so we have to sue the policy of “flight “instead of “fight”.

     Coronavirus is thought to spread primarily by patient’s respiratory droplets, emanated by cough, sneeze, spit. These virus containing droplet can be inhaled directly or mostly, they spread on surfaces; clothes, objects, etc. when a healthy person touch such virus contaminated items, his hands carry them and later, when he touches or scratch his eyes, nose, mouth; Coronavirus finds its way to enter his healthy body. In sum, healthy person carry himself the virus by hand to put it into his own body. Now, there are two ways; disinfect virus contaminated surfaces, clothes, objects, and the transferring tool ‘hands’.
     After choosing option of disinfection, problem of selecting appropriate disinfectant arises? which is good and effective disinfectant (decontaminator applied on non-living object) and antiseptic (decontaminator applied on living body)?
      There are many disinfectants and antiseptics available in market. User’s curiosity is to find, which is more effective and sure to kill virus. Below are some disinfectants with their mode of action and efficacy.
Coronavirus is also called enveloped virus and that means it has an outer envelope, composed of protein and fat and due to its outer layer, it is relatively simple to kill with most disinfectant, as compared to virus that don’t have envelope. Here we are somewhat lucky!
1)      Dettol:
              
It is admixture of Chloroxylenol (4.8%) is active ingredient and supposed to kill 99% bacteria and flu virus; Isopropyl alcohol (kill 99% germs); Pine Oil (kill germs); Castor oil soap (kill germs and cohesive); Caramel (it gives Dettol its yellowish-brown color) and the water acts as a diluent, binding the other ingredients together.
     So, Dettol has 3-4 germ killing agents so is very effective to kill coronavirus. But it is advised to see the list of ingredients, it must contain chloroxylenol, the primary killing agents. (PRECAUTION: it is bad to breathe Dettol! The main risk reported is “Dettol poisoning” of pulmonary aspiration, leading to pneumonia, adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and/or sudden cardiorespiratory arrest.)

        2) Ethanol (Ethyl alcohol), Spirit:
     
Ethanol has many names:  ethyl alcohol, methyl carbinol, Fire water, grain alcohol, etc. Spirit is widely used in PAKISTAN that contain 95% ethanol, 5% methanol (cause blindness, madness and even death) plus small amount of pyridine or acetone to make it flavor abominable, thus makes it undrinkable.
       Ethanol kill micro-organisms by denaturing their protein and dissolving their fats. Ethanol(CH3CH2OH) is a polar molecule with water loving hydroxyl group (-OH) and that loves to disrupt fat and protein of virus coating.  It is effective against most bacteria’s, fungi and many viruses. Thus ethanol does germ murdering.
       3) Hand Sanitizer:
       
Hand sanitizer contain ethanol that kill 99.99% germ. Ethanol cannot be applied on hand as it is very thin liquid and second, it dries up skin. Sanitizer has 70% ethanol as an active ingredient plus glycerin, Aloe Vera gel to make it easy to use and to moisten skin. Some flavor is added to make it fragrant, and some bitter taste compound isopropyl alcohol are added to avoid its misuse. Sometime, amino methyl propanol, which has fishy smell, is added to make its flavor unsuitable for other purpose. But the main ingredient is ethanol, which kill germ. Before buying, must watch ethanol content; it must be 60% or above. Preferably 70% to gives better results.

       4) Soap, the best of all:

     All soaps: cloth soap, toilet soap, medical soap, liquid soap, etc. are equally good. As each soap molecule have two parts; its head is polar and hydrophilic (water loving) and like to interact with water while its long tail is non-polar (made of carbon
obtained from fat) is hydrophobic (get away from water) and loves the fat of virus. So, one can say: tail is virus loving.
  


  When soaps come near coronavirus, Coronavirus has fat made bilayer casing with protein embedded in this membrane. In coronavirus, fat 

has two sheets Fat-1 and Fat-2 with tails facing inwards.
       The fat tail of soap molecules is attracted to fat in virus membrane (proving birds of same feathers flock together). Fat tail of soap takes the advantages of the presence of membrane protein which can perturb the neatly organized bilayer to insert themselves in viral membrane.
      
If the soap is only small amount, soap molecules only loosen the membrane. If the soap is more, then it creates micelle around membrane fat. They also attract hydrophobic amino acid and membrane protein, extracting them from the membrane, thus rupturing virus structure. It should be kept in mind structural integrity of virus is essential for infection. So washing your hands with soaps protect you better from infection, then washing with water.
1)         The longer you lather, the higher is chance of destroying virus.
2)         The more is soap, the greater is chance of destroying virus.
So, wash hand with good amount of soap and for at least 20 seconds, rubbing every parts of hands especially finger tips.
