Government Post Graduate Taleem Ul Islam College Chenab Nagar commemorated the Black Day by setting up a seminar and taking down the national flag to half mast to record protest.Professor Hafiz Ahsan Ullah did the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by consecutive speeches of teachers. Professor Syed Ali Imran Shah said that Narindar Modi has dug his own grave in Kashmir. Very soon, the sun will shine on the grateful land of Kashmir, and its people will celebrate the independence with the rest of the Pakistani nation. Professor Alamgir expressed his emotions and thoughts on the occasion by saying that "By the Will of God, the blood of innocent Kashmiris will not go vain. Their damnation is about to become their salvation. He futher added that the parties concerned in bringing peace to Kashmir should go for the United Nation Security Council and revoke the resolution 38, 39 and resolution 40 (1948) to call out for Public election (plebiscite) in Kashmir and assign a representator from United Nation to keep an eye on the current situation of Kashmir and draft out a permanent solution to this problem. Professor doctor Saqlain spoke on the occasion that the acting government should not commemorate this day as a tradition, but it should take this day to lay down their efforts in acheiving the goals for why this day has been commemorated, and that is to gain independence for the Kashmiris. He further said that the members of United Nation Security Council should be contacted to gain their favour in bringing a resolution to this dispute, and to make sure this resolution goes under the chapter 7 of United Nation instead of staying at Chapter 6.
Media Incharge Professor Waqar Hussain placed forth a dreadful possibility that the efforts in turning the heavenly land of kashmir into a warland, might ingnite the World War Three and destroy the global peace. He further said that the capabilities of Pakistani Armed forced is not hidden from anyone. In fact, in times like these , the whole Pakistani nation of 220 million people is an Army itself, and we stand side by side with our soldiers. It will be for everyone's betterment that we draft out a solution throught the resolution in United Nation, instead of using means that can destroy global peace. While moving towards the end of the seminar, Vice Principal Professor Sarfraz Hussain called out for a join prayer for the solidarity and peace of Pakistan and Kashmir.
Principal Syed Zia Ul Husnain Shah spoke on his presidential address that the current Modi govenment has murdered the views of Nehru, Gandhi and Wajpai in the resolution of United Nation, which has defamed the secular face of India to the global communities. The political parties of India are condemning the cruelity of Indian soldiers on Kashmiris. He said that a general election for public opionion should be called in Kashmir, and the actions of 5 August, including the revoke of Article 370 and Article 35 A should be taken back, and a suitable solution should be devised under the lights of resolutions of United Nation.
A Rally was called after the seminar in the name of protest. Professors and students wore black strips, some even wore black dresses, with play cards in their hands, the whole rally embraced the words of "Kashmir Will become Pakistan".
