What causes an object to look black?
What causes an object to look black?
PROF WAQAR HUSSAIN
When
all the radiations falling on an object get absorbed, it appears black since
only the radiations from the surrounding surface are reflected to the eyes and
are seen. When all radiations are absorbed and none of the radiation reflects
back, thus the object looks black. So, black colour is a great absorber. It
absorbs all the radiations falling on it.
If all radiations are absorbed then how are we able to see it
